With fewer cards offering a straight-up, zero APR offer for new business cardmembers, it’s nice to see that American Express and Delta have brought this trend back. You’ll get six months of interest-free purchases with the card from the date of account opening. This perk is offered for all three levels of the business card family: Delta Reserve, Delta Platinum, and Delta Gold.

The even better news is that the sign-up bonus miles deals are double what they were before. Get twice the miles when you complete spending milestones within the first three months of account opening:

Delta Reserve for Business Credit Card

Earn 80,000 bonus miles and 5,000 Medallion® Qualification Miles (MQMs) after you spend $6,000 in purchases on your new Card in your first 3 months.. You’ll also get 5,000 Medallion® Qualification Miles (MQMs). Earn 2 Miles per dollar spent on eligible purchases made directly with Delta. Earn 1 mile on every eligible dollar spent on purchases..

This card has a $450 annual fee but comes with benefits like

  • 20% in-flight discounts

Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Business Credit Card from American Express

Earn 80,000 bonus miles and 5,000 Medallion® Qualification Miles (MQMs) after you spend $6,000 in purchases on your new Card in your first 3 months and a $100 statement credit after you make a Delta purchase with your new Card within your first 3 months. You’ll also get a slightly smaller Miles Boost offer of 10,000 MQMs and 10,000 bonus applies after you reach $25,000 in eligible purchases on the Card within the year. One other notable perk is a $100 statement credit when you make a Delta purchase within the first 3 months.

This card has a $195 annual fee and comes with the same free checked bag, inflight-discount, miles earning structure, and companion pass. (Platinum passes are only valid for main cabin purchases.)

Gold Delta SkyMiles® Business Credit Card from American Express

Earn 70,000 bonus miles after you make $4,000 in purchases on your new Card in your first 3 months.. You will get a $50 statement credit after your first Delta purchase in 3 months. This card has a $0 introductory annual fee for the first year, then $95 after that, but offers the free checked bag perk, the same earning rate, and priority boarding.

How It Affects You

For anyone who travels Delta more than a few times a year, or has employees that do, this business card can quickly boost your connected Delta SkyMiles account balance to be used for free or greatly-discounted travel. Now that Delta allows you to pay with Points or Points and Cash, you can score main cabin tickets, Comfort Plus, and even First-Class tickets for hundreds of dollars below their regular price, even if you don’t have enough points banked for a full fare.
