I've had this card for several years now. I got it when I was flying Delta quite often. I appreciated the perks that came along with this card including free checked bags and priority boarding. I was able to accumulate quite a few miles by using the card for almost all of my purchases. It also helped me reach Gold status. I used it overseas because there is no foreign transaction fee. I also signed up for the rental car coverage that served as primary coverage when I rent a car using the card. There is a small fee for each rental— just under $12— but that's much cheaper than springing for car rental insurance through the rental company. American Express customer service is excellent and the website is very easy to navigate. I like the way they break down purchase activity and make it easy to keep on top of spending. I also added my husband and daughter as an authorized user on this account so I could accumulate more miles. I am not flying Delta most often anymore, but I still keep this card because of the perks for when I do.
