2 Credit Cards That Will Reward You for Buying Office Supplies

If your business is like most, then you’re probably placing orders from office supply stores on a regular basis, or constantly sending someone out to fulfill urgent needs. In addition, office supply stores can be a great place to make other necessary purchases of furniture, electronics and even school supplies.

Using the right business credit card when you make those purchases can save your company some much-needed cash. Here are two cards that give you extra rewards when you shop at office supply stores.

1. United MileagePlus Explorer Business Card From Chase

If you want to earn additional frequent-flier miles from your business card, and enjoy travel benefits, than this may be the card for you. It offers double miles on all purchases from office supply stores, restaurants and gas stations. You also receive double miles on all tickets purchased from United. In addition, you receive 50,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on new purchases within three months of account opening. You also receive a 10,000-mile bonus each calendar year that you use your card to spend $25,000 or more.

Other benefits include priority boarding, a free checked bag for yourself and a companion, and two United Club passes each year. There is a $95 annual fee for this card that’s waived the first year, and no foreign transaction fees.

2. JetBlue Business Card From Barclaycard

The small business version of the JetBlue card also offers 2x TrueBlue points for purchases from office supply stores. You also earn 6x on all JetBlue purchases, 2x points at restaurants and one point per dollar spent on all other purchases. New cardholders also earn 30,000 bonus points after using their card to spend $1,000 within the first 90 days of their account.

Travel benefits include a 50% savings on in-flight purchases, a 10% points bonus every time you redeem and a free checked bag for yourself and up to three companions. Finally, you can earn TrueBlue Mosaic status each calendar year that you spend $50,000 or more on purchases with your card. There’s a $99 annual fee for this card, and no foreign transaction fees.
